Your mental health matters and it is time to reflect and remember the beautiful person you are! For myself, I started this project while in a transitional period in life, Initially starting with a list of things I value in myself and a list of things I value in others. I started with what I value in myself as I feel that it is important to recognize what is good in you before your evaluate elsewhere. As someone who was always a "people pleasure" it took a long time to realize that in order to help others I must help myself. This activity forced me to focus on myself before moving to others.
How to:
1) Create a list of "I" statements of various things you value in yourself. Approximately 30-50 dependant on your size of paper (note: this may take a long time to accumulate, and that is okay)
2) Trace out an outline of your silhouette/draw out a silhouette.
3) Draw, paint, or cut up magazine pictures and glue pictures inside of the silhouette.
4) Write out "I" statements protruding from the silhouette, as if these positive traits are radiating from you.
5) Hang it on your wall to remind yourself how AWESOME you are!
